We’re missing our Harvest Service this year, but we can all do something to help others. As in the past few years, we will be accepting harvest donations which will go to the Bethany work at Kharis Court in Bathgate.

David at Kharis said that the unit is full just now with 5 young people in

flats and 4 others. They would be delighted to receive our gifts. Particular foods that the young people would appreciate are noodles, super noodles and ready meals which can be frozen. David also cooks for the young folk so anything will be useful. He also added that they always need toiletries – toothbrushes, toothpaste, and things like shower gel for men and women – maybe not our traditional harvest gifts but I’m sure you’ll rise to the challenge.

Goods will be received in the church Car Park on Saturday 17th October between 2.00pm and 3.00pm. If you would rather have your gift collected then we can do that – phone, text or email me and it will be arranged.

If you live at the west end of Broxburn or the east end of Uphall this is the 'Church on Your Doorstep'. For over 70 years folk have met here for worship. Presently we meet on Sundays at 11.00am and 6.00pm. In the morning we hold a service which is for the family and each week we have a range of ages worshipping together. We sing together using a blend of old and modern hymns and led by the musicians, we read God's word, and our speaker leads us to consider its relevance as the children go and do their thing. At the end we all come together for refreshments.

The evening services vary with Family Fellowship normally on the second Sunday and a fellowship communion on the third. At other times we study the Bible over refreshments - Coffee Bible Study. See 'About Us' and 'Diary' for more details.

We are a community of ordinary folk, centred on Jesus, who believe that knowing Jesus personally makes a tremendous difference to our lives.

All are welcome here – people of all faiths or none. If you want to know more please come and speak to one of our workers.

The Broxburn Baptist Church Family

There are folk in our church family who have been Chrstians for many years. There are those who have recently become Christians and are finding their way.

There are folks in our family who are not sure where they stand and are searching.

There are folks who do not share our beliefs.

Jesus never turned anyone away but welcomed all - the believers, the unbelievers, the doubting and sought to bring them all to a position of faith

The collage seeks to illustrate what our church family is, every hand part of our family. You are welcome to add yours.
